The purpose of the Teacher Induction/Mentoring Program (TIP) in the Franklin County School District is to provide teachers who are new to the school district the assistance necessary to begin a successful teaching career. Through a mentoring relationship, FCSD will assist novice teachers and teachers new to our district in a further understanding of relevant information related to professional responsibilities, classroom management, and instruction. It also provides a unique opportunity to establish a strong culture within our newest cohort of teachers, to invest them with the District's vision, and to build a solid foundation to promote teacher retention.
